RANGATAHI MĀ!
Te Awahōhonu is excited to invite our rangatahi to join our Ohu rangatahi/Youth Collective. This ohu will provide a platform for rangatahi to voice their thoughts on what matters to them and how the trust can better serve their needs.
In addition to discussions, the group will participate in outdoor activities to foster a deeper connection with their whenua and awa. E.g. Rafting the mohaka, mountain biking, Hiking.
To be eligible, rangatahi must have whakapapa connections to Te Awahōhonu Forest Trust and be between the ages of 11 - 19 years.

We look forward to welcoming our rangatahi to the Ohu Rangatahi and hearing their valuable insights and perspectives.
mohaka rafting
On Sunday the 23rd of March 2025 we are looking to take a group of rangatahi on a rafting trip on the Mohaka. More details to come.
